Meet Suffragan Bishop Winston D. Thompson — Born in Manchester, Jamaica, he was baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost at 19. After moving to the U.S. in 1969, he became a dedicated pastor and community leader in Chicago. He has faithfully served in the Illinois District Council and continues to labor in ministry with a heart for growth, service, and legacy.

Dr. Mary L. Thompson was a powerhouse of faith, excellence, and resilience. Born in Kingston, Jamaica and affectionately known as “Kitty,” she was a gifted scholar, educator, and leader. A devoted wife, mother, and servant of the Lord, she overcame numerous health challenges with unwavering faith. For over 50 years, she faithfully served her church, the Illinois District Council, and the PAW, leaving a lasting legacy of grace, strength, and commitment to God’s work.
